Hugh and Shirley Klodzinski along with their son Kelly, who was then fresh out of high school, went into the flooring business in 1985 in the Soda community of Livingston TX. Although they had experience in building and construction, they were new to the flooring industry, and learned “on the job”. Each had their own forte, which when blended, allowed them to work as a unit, building the business with a fresh and honest approach from the ground up.

Today, Floor Care and Interior is a limited liability corporation with 3 locations. Their Livingston location is located seven miles east of the courthouse on highway 190 East. The Onalaska location is located in the heart of Onalaska on highway 190 West and the newest location in Lumberton, is located on Highway 69 South. All three stores offer extensive flooring options, while we also offer custom window coverings and are Hunter Douglas priority dealers. Also provided are Glidden and Devoe paints and sundries at the Onalaska store.
